Training players, running quality competitions, following everyone's progress and showcasing Beninese talent.
Chesspirit brings coaching, competitions, ratings, directory, shop and media for chess in Benin together in one ecosystem, with a single account per player.
The Chesspirit rating acts as a de facto national ranking in blitz, rapid and classical until a federal ranking exists, with FIDE Elo shown alongside.
The tournament manager is free for every organiser in the country: each tournament run on Chesspirit enriches the national database of players and games. The first Chesspirit tournament takes place on Saturday 3 October 2026 at the FSS in Cotonou, with the FSS and Ayelade Chess as partners.
